Matt a netting company if there is one would cost way more than a pack of bird netting from bunnings

Bunnings PS a show breeder I know lost three birds in one strike when a hawk hit the aviary wire and sank its talons into the birds on the wire.
  16. Is the nestbox level or on a kind of slant ? When nestboxes are not properly level hens do this. I wouldnt shift the eggs into the concave myself because once they begin to incubate them they have a sequence of rotation of their eggs and you could upset that. If your nest isnt level, make sure they all are in the future.
  17. The actual description of this budgies cere keeps changing. I would rather wait for a photo.

The hawk will keep coming back now it knows about your birds. Its not biting through wire you have to worry about.....a hawk can kill birds that hang on the wire by piercing them with its talons. You will have to put bird netting up all around and extended out from your aviary so it doesnt get close.
  19. I hope you have the support of friends and family at this terrible time Maes
  20. These photos are 160px × 120px..........you can post photos on here 480 by 640
  21. Recessive hens are the same as any hens..........whitish pink when not in condition and brown when they are. Recessive cocks have pink ceres at all times.
  22. Breeding for show means you keep them all until they are 8 months at least to see how they turned out and if they will suit your breeding program.
