Ivermectin
The product you saw is an application kind designed for pet budgies you can handle and catch every day to treat. It works for early scaly face but not advanced. Scaly face that has progressed to the eyes and feet and begun mis shaping the beak will not get better by using aristopet. It is no different to using oil on the beak. If you have a pile of budgies and ones that arent pets you use the ivermectin spot on method, which in my experience is the best thing out. If you want to believe in petshop products and rely on petshop staff thats up to you. I pay $9 for my spot on from the vet. How much was your aristopet product ?

Need Some Advise
I used to colony breed. One thing that can and does happen in colony breeding is a bird or two will take over the top or entrance of a nestbox and literally stop the actual parent from returning to their nest to feed their babies. A whole nest of babies can die this way due to starvation. My suggestion is ..........you need to watch for some time and see if this is happening in this case. Secondly if she has lost condition during the raising of babies that may account for her not wanting to complete the raising of her babies. For now....................Yes you will have to move babies, or you will have to supplement feed them in the nest.

Need Some Advise
Try to transfer chicks of similar ages. The mother that has stopped feeding well............has her cere changed colour at all ? Is she out of condition ..........cere colour-wise ? Is her partner and herself well ? If sick they will save themselves by stopping feeding chicks. Do they have soft food available to them ?

Iodine
It also speaks of adding iodine to the water. We use aqueous iodine also known as LUGOLL'S IODINE available from chemists....5-7 drops per litre.

Psycho Budgie Help
That hen of Ratzy's is not a good example. Here Boys in right condition If the female cere is light to medium brown her cere will be right to carry her through the whole process. If its dark brown and flaky its gone past that point and at the stage where it will flake off and show the white blue thats underneath. White blue is not in breeding conditon. If you have timed it wrong and its dark and flaky, often the hen loses interest or condition at some point through the breeding process and you will have problems.

Did I Cause This To Happen?
DEFINITELY happened after death by your description. Doesnt take budgies long to eat one of thier own after death. Maybe its there way of stopping other predators coming amongst the flock after the body .............but budgies do eat meat...that is CERTAIN ?

Hen Unwell Again......
Green excrements with yellow urine portions refer to a substantial disturbances of the internal organs. If the liver is damaged, the organism excretes biles what leads to the discolouration of excrement and urine. In case you notice such droppings you should go and see your vet. Liver problems for example can be caused by bacteria or viruses, most illnesses are curable. http://www.birds-online.de/gesundheit/gesa...katorkot_en.htm
