Why Genetics Does My Head In....
I agree with Neville, I took a course about genetics in college and it was very basic and that is why I feel that I can grasp it.

Question about eyes
:party0011: The Iris - this is a muscularly operated diaphragm which controls the amount of light entering the eye. It is coloured and it is this that gives the eye its colour. At the centre of the iris is the variable hole through which the light actually passes on its way into the eye, this is called the pupil. So when the iris is not visible (or people say there is no iris ring) it means that the iris ring and the pupil are the same color so you can't see where the iris ring is in the eye. Hope that helps.

Question about eyes
Just a note that an iris ring is a make-up of the eye and all birds have them if they are visible to us is the eye to the mutation. :party0011:. Look forward to seeing a picture of the eye.

What Babies Will I Get!
If there is a visible iris ring in either eye that is not a recessive pied (they don't have visible iris rings ever) it would be a dominant pied to me they look like Clearflight Dominant Pieds.

Separating Third Bird While Taming The Third Bird
I think the bottom line is what you need to look at because when adding you need to make the 1st one is really tame, then get the 2nd and so forth, the ones that have been successful with all tame birds either 1 bred them and then raised the babies from the nest or the first one was really tame first. Birds are wild creatures and not domestic like dogs and cats are so they will revert to their wild nature if given the opportunity.

Separating Third Bird While Taming The Third Bird
Training 3 birds is a difficult and sometimes you have to conclude that you may have 1 more tame then the other, I have found that the more you get the last one always seems to be the most least tame. What do you expect in terms of tame with your 3rd bird? What type of relationship?

What In The World Is She Doing?
I agree she is flirting, if you find that the behavior gets too much and not cute anymore , you can add some cage cover time for about 1-2 hours more a week that helps a lot.

Vaccuum Cleaners
I agree, Merlin talks to the vaacum he is not scared of it, it is interesting to find that the louder it is the better for a budgie because that is how it is in the wild, but with dogs or cats most take off for the hills lol .

I think MB is right the closer they are to their real heritage I bet the flighter they are, you will find that show budgies are much calmer then the pet type. I love this picture did you submit it for January Budgie of the Month?

Please Help !
That is what I have heard and read too Neville, I think before you decide to breed a bird like this with a possible underlying condition you decide 1. to find out what is causing it or 2. don't breed it That is my opinion.
