Posted April 3, 200619 yr It all happens so fast, after waiting and waiting for eggs then waiting and more waiting for babies, the time just flys away. Enjoy the pictures: Squeaker (i say boy): Echo(boy): Berry(girl): Reepicheep(starting to look likea girl): Scuttle(might be another girl): The funny thing is none of them have strong bars to the tip of there cere. What you see in the pictures isn't always from the flash washing them out. Edited April 3, 200619 yr by Nerwen
April 3, 200619 yr They are gorgeous !! :bluebudgie: Will trade you one violet opaline baby for Reepicheep :ausb:
April 3, 200619 yr AWW!!!..NERWEN!!!...im in Arent you naming Squeker Kirby for me?..(Laughing out loud) Kirby
April 3, 200619 yr Author *Thinks* *ponders* ......Nope can't part with little Reepi. :(Laughing out loud): at Kirby. If he stays with me it's at the top of the list. Edited April 3, 200619 yr by Nerwen
April 3, 200619 yr oh they are all so cute, if you look at the babies from the side views you can see the bars better to the cere, granted they are not super dark but I can see them ever so slightly. So question, where your outcomes doing it the genetic way, the same outcome that came out natures way?
April 3, 200619 yr I wonder if Squeaker gets his Daddys green tinges when he moults. I hope so he is a stunner. but then they all are.
April 3, 200619 yr aww cute.. do ur girls sqwark when u put ur hands in the box to pull them out and bite? Friend noticed the ones that do turn out female.. and so far its been true with mine.
April 3, 200619 yr Squeaker - boy Echo - boy Berry - not sure but with the photo think boy. Reepicheep - not sure but with the photo think boy. Opaline Scuttle - i thnk boy as well. The flash is a problem with some shots....my colour blindness doesn't help either.
April 3, 200619 yr Oh, they all look soooo wonderful!!!!! Love them all... I do especially love Reepi just like everyone else. :ausb:
April 3, 200619 yr Author Really look at Berry then dash back to look at echo and you can see a differance, she is a SHE. Her cere is almost all light blue in real life now. Reepicheep and Scuttle are a bit up in the air as yet but they are slightly paler than what Echo and Squeaker where at that age. belco- none of them sqwark now as I take them out of the box. Scuttle can nibble my hand a bit too hard sometimes but not in an angry way. Edited April 3, 200619 yr by Nerwen
April 3, 200619 yr Author it sure will. Tootie is starting to nest again she has picked out a spot in the box for her and sits there on and off. Squeaker was out this morning with Berry and Echo and tried some the green for himself
April 3, 200619 yr Reepicheep is still my favourite. But of course they are all darling. Can't remember if you said anywhere if you are selling them?
April 4, 200619 yr Author It just cause Reepi is so different to the others. I'm giving them away (well some) to a friend and other family members if they are wanting too. If not they are all staying with me to be moved into the new BIG home for them later this month.
April 4, 200619 yr I can't believe how quickly they grow up, are they still fed by mum or dad at this age??? This is very :rip: but... Nerwen you have gorgeous fingernails!!! Do you do anything extra special for them?? As soon as I get some growth they split!! Love your babies!!!
April 4, 200619 yr Author thanks Riebie No I don't do anything exta with them they just grow and grow and grow. I was lucky and got strong nails from my Dad. Mum and Dad are still feeding but the oldest three are trying to eat seeds and test out the fresh veggies.
