Posted March 22, 200619 yr Sparky is becoming finger tame!! It all started yesterday when sparky was flying around my bedroom and he accidently landed on my finger instead of the perch, he stayed on there for about 10seconds and then quickly flew off. This gave me a bit of hope so I then took him into the bathroom and got him to step up on the perch and then tried to push my finger aginst his belly but he flew off only to land in the bath. So I got him on to the perch again and this time instead of flying away he took two painful nips at my finger, I just bit my lip real hard. It was all worth it though as he got on my finger knowing that biting wouldn't do anything and today he gets on it without putting up a fuss at all. It just felt so wierd at first. It may of taken 1 year and 4 months Sparky but I've finaly won the battle. :beer:

March 23, 200619 yr isn't it exciting when that happens?! My Casper just did the same thing after about nine months... all this time of nothing at all, then BANG! all of a sudden he is finger tame and sitting on my shoulder while i do the housework! well done!
March 23, 200619 yr thankyou! well tonights gone great as hes stepping up on my finger without putting up a fuss at all, I'm starting to wonder weather this budgie is an imposter.
