That's great but I fear the plant pot should probably be bigger so he can't poop on the table. I had a great setup for my budgies before (the tame ones) with a larger container with dirt in it with a layer of gravel on top. It was easy to screen the gravel and remove the poop and refresh the bottom layer every month. Alternatively you could put a paper under the plant pot and change it every day so your table isn't damaged, but I am sure the structure is much appreciated.

Yes he does love it

 

The branches are eucalyptus and the plant is a fern called hen and chickens, it is on the budgie safe list on several websites.

 

(Laughing out loud) the table it is sitting on is actually an upturned crate covered in black material which i can easily wash so I'm not concerned about poo damage (Laughing out loud)

now that is great creative idea, I love it!
