Could someone tell me what a creamino is????? :)

I've never heard of that before.

Creamino is a yellowface albino. To get an albino you need the ino gene and a blue gene, yellowface is a type of blue gene that doesn't full remove the yellow from the bird when matched to the ino gene leaves a cream or mellow yellow hue over the bird.

They're very pretty.. I still kind of wish I would have gotten the one I saw last year.. before I decide to get another budgie.

I think the yellow little girl is a creamino... Please correct me if I'm wrong. :wub:

Cheeta has your little one got a name?

Someone said my Boss was a creamino but isn't he/ she too yellow for a creamino ??? I don't know. Maybe its the photo but Boss has an all over yellow look but has white feathers showing through everywhere and RED eyes. B2.jpg

yes boss is, becuase the yellow is patchy. a lutino has a bright even yellow all over (sometimes with white flight feathers)

Hi Nerwen, yes I have names for those two.. :D

 

he Creamino is called 'Yue Liang'.. Meaning Moon in Chinese.. YUE is pronouced YET but with 'T' being silence. :D Liang pronouced Lee-young

 

The albino is called 'Bai Shing' meaning 'white star' in chinese.

Was looking to know when this creamino ever came about as i got two just last week and just started getting back into it again
