I finally have some pictures of the new budgie. He's actually got quite a bit of a yellow tinge to his face and parts of his body but it's really hard to see in the pictures (on my monitor at least).

:ausb: Very pretty, I can see little hints of yellow and blue. Pippin looks subdued, guess he is still getting into the swing of things. :):wub:

Lovely colouring. Is Pippin a girl? Nostrils look very white.

AAAAWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!

Pippin is so adorable! With that color, I'm almost 100% he will molt into a darker yellow color. :)

Yeah, this is just day two for him so he's still settling in. He was more active today though and explored the cage a bit.

No, I'm almost certain he's a boy. In person, his nares actually have more translucent rings. More blue than white. And the rest is very pinkish-purple. Of course, that could change. But I'm pretty certain he's a he. (And I hope he is, I have too many females!)

That would be so pretty! I wish I could fast forward time and take a peek at the molted Pip. :D

You might be able to. Look at Sunny. :ausb: He was that color when he was a baby.

Hehe. I may have Sunny's evil (or not so evil) twin!

I really do hope Pippin is not as spastic as Sunny is! I'll bet you can't wait to indroduce him to the rest of the birds.

awww, Pippin is just sooo handsome!! I love the colour of him. I can just barely make out the yellow on him. Such a gorgeous colour! :D
