Posted February 17, 200619 yr Here he is, been with us for a few weeks already! I think he's a dominant pied because there's a little patch of white on his head but otherwise he doesn't really have a stripe. I also have a hard time telling what color he is because sometimes he looks purple and sometimes he looks grayish blue... Either way, he's a sweetie and loves to have his cheeks scratched! I will have more pics later
February 17, 200619 yr He's very cute. I don't see his pied spot.. it's on the back of his head? He looks cobalt to me.

February 17, 200619 yr :(Laughing out loud): I was expecting a yellow budgie with the name. he is a cutie. I'm glad to see he has a correct wing clip. Are you going to keep him clipped or let it grow out in time? He is looking very much at home

Actually the petstore I bought him from gave him the clip, but I'm glad to hear they did it correctly! I haven't decided whether or not to keep him clipped, I guess I will have to get to know him better Do you guys keep your budgies clipped? Just curious, my other two are not clipped.

February 18, 200619 yr he is so cute Pretty had his wings clipped correctly at the pet store too, right now he has 3 flight feathers on each side, I believe I will let them grow in . It is up to the individual person for sure, work alot on his taming now while they are clipped, and you can determine step by step what you would like to do.
February 18, 200619 yr Author Pretty bird, you are very trusting that he won't mess on your camera, etc. hahaha! Don't worry I checked for poo, and he was mostly interested in the camera as a large plastic perch, not a chew toy (Laughing out loud).
