Posted February 5, 200619 yr I have got my printer set up and the camera set up despite the power being out most of the day (major winter storm here with very high winds). So it is dark and gloomy now, roads shut down due to falling trees, ditches and rivers overflowing and the lights are flickering. Internet has also been down. I really don't want to get into anything I can't finish but the camera is READY for use (but as I have told a few of you before, don't get too overly excited, they are just normal budgies). TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!!

February 5, 200619 yr :ausb: I am telling the truth, honest!!! Just get on the internet and look at the weather here!!! I am exhausted from too much "high tech" stuff for today anyhows but really it wasn't all that bad (excepting the power outages) and I am annoyed at myself that I didn't attempt things earlier, storm will blow over by the morning, so they say. :oliveb:
February 5, 200619 yr :ausb: Okay, back on again, I think the birds are enjoying the storm, I lifted the blinds all the way up so they could see all the tree boughs, etc. landing on the balcony and get some extra light as it was so dark. I did get in about half an hour of the news on TV when the power came back on and I am faring much better than some people who have had their power out for hours and my Mom's roof is leaking and lotsa poor people have flooding. I live just outside of the big city and have a well so I don't have water when the power goes out. Have a few glasses of water around and buckets to flush the toilet. Won't bother resetting the clocks, VCR, microwave, etc. for the third time today, will wait until it all blows over and WILL have pics tomorrow. :oliveb:

February 5, 200619 yr :ausb: NO MORE POPCORN!!! Actually it was very scary with traffic lights out and people not observing the 4 way stop procedure, winds seem to be quieter............. first thing in the morning, my first duty after my birds. :bluebudgie:
