We had a kitchen disaster yesterday. Someone accidentally left the kitchen door open at dinner time. My sister went in to find Cheeky sitting right next to the cooker looking up at a big pot!! That could have been a disaster.

I wouldn't recommend that anybody lets their birds anywhere near the kitchen when food is being cooked, even if they are supervised.
