i was in a pet shop and saw a wooden bird toy with one of thoughs white hide dog bone shaped things at the bottom is this safe can i buy just a plain one and hang it in the cage for them to chew on thanks :hap:

I've read that raw hide is bad for birds (and dogs) if ingested but as long as your budgie doesn't eat it, it would be okay. You'd have to watch carefully though. I'd probably skip it and stick with wood-based toys for chewing. :hap:
