your chick is a normal blue

 

your male is a grey wing blue.

When you say the chick is a normal blue what should i say it is?=

 

.1. normal blue

 

.2. normal skyblue

 

.3. normal cobalt blue

 

.4. normal mauve blue

 

 

Sorry if the question sounds silly i'm pretty new to keeping different types and colours of budgies. i'v only ever had a lightgreen hen as a pet up till 7 months ago thats when i built myself a birdroom in my back yard.

No he's not the father.The father is a skyblue not to sure what the mother is i think she's a opaline cobalt blue.i'll look out a picture of both parents.

As for the blue graywing he's not got a hen yet. He's just over 13 months old now so i,m on the look out for a nice wee hen for him. Anyone any ideas what would be good to pair him with?

Well Grey wing is a recessive gene. I would think to pair him with another grey wing (or dilute) to get more.
