Glad all is well there! Cheech, the father of the babies flew the coop a week ago in a door ajar incident. So I have no photos of him. HOTLIPS the blue cinnamon wing pictured, is exactly like the father of Kermits babies, Cheech. Jimmy Barnes is the new husband and father to the babies and doing a very good job of it too. He is a real sweetie. Here is the mother I am not sure what you call her colour but she looks like a clearwing. I am new to colour and type. ....Hope to work the colours out eventually. CHEERS KAZ PS more baby piks tomorrow. Edited August 27, 200816 yr by **Liv** removed broken image
February 1, 200619 yr They are beautiful! Kermit looks like a normal green, but her bars and wing markings are diluted to grey. It is such a pretty combination. Is she the one you think might be pied? I would say no, unless she has the pied spot on the back of her head (where there would be just yellow feathers instead of them having bars on them). The blues are a lovely shade too. Thanks for posting those up! Sorry to hear about Cheech, that must have been tough on you and Kermit. Edited February 1, 200619 yr by Rainbow

I believe I was wrong about the pied identification since looking on the site www.budgietalk.com as she looks very much like the clearwing shown there. I have much to learn and am trying to get it right. She is a brilliant mother and I will take baby piks later today. Gotta charge up the camera batteries again. :angel1:
