February 4, 200619 yr Bet he never had a budgie named Phoebe before and yes, I will get the camera done but don't get too excited, they are just NORMAL budgies. I must say again, that the colors of Daz's birdies are really stunning!
February 4, 200619 yr Author Thanks guys. Phoebe this is Phoebe Girl I think. The other thre are probibly girls also. Edited February 4, 200619 yr by daz
February 4, 200619 yr Author Phoebe will probibly be a sky blue recessed pied like her dad. http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a26/darrylw/budgies018.jpg Edited February 4, 200619 yr by daz
February 4, 200619 yr Phoebe is a blue recessive pied like Walt and Disney. And they are all so extra cute in the flesh Daz- I couldn't believe how placid Vagas was in your hands. I just remember Ringo trying to leap out of my hands at that age. Thank you for showing me it gave me my baby fix for a while now I think I can wait with Tootie and Marine a bit longer. :(Laughing out loud):
February 4, 200619 yr Author Sorry Nerwen I forgot to say I play with the chicks for 15 mins each day. After Training this afternoon. I gave them the vegitables and while the parents were enjoying them. I take the chicks out and gently pat them. I start this about 14 days. Vagas is 28 days today and is quite used to me. I'll be doing it inside from now on as she should be fledging next week and might try to start flying. Vagas
February 4, 200619 yr no worries I knew you did training. Still just a bit of a shock to me. I know I started too late with Ringo when she was a baby but with my first clutch I was afraid of harming them.
February 4, 200619 yr :bluebudgie: OMG Daz!! In a weird twist of fate, you will see when I get my camera going today (and I had better get it going but we have bad windstorms here and the power went out twice during the night and the wind is still screeching), that Phoebe's father is a dead ringer for my Comet, the male stud of the couple that won't cut out the breeding!! Stay tuned, gonna get going on my camera and won't post again until I get some pictures!!
February 5, 200619 yr oh Daz I had a check with my book again and if Phoebe is a cinnamon then she has to be a she. Keep an close eye on the cere
