I am interested in the Dark mrkings on the eldest's head and wing. I didn't have this with the spangles.

All togeather again.

Oh I also haven't named them.

Any Ideas???

Oh they are just soooooo sweet. Stop it! I feel like breeding again! :ausb:

Won't they all be normal greens? If Greeny is split to blue then normal blues as well and if she had a recessive parent then maybe recessive pieds too. Oh, and if Duey had a cinnamon parent then maybe cinnamons too but not thinking about hidden genes they'd all be normal greens.....am i right?

Actually you are right but thye wrong way around. Greeny is the cinamon wing green and duey is the recessive pied. The chicks should be green split to recessive pied split to cinamon. But I don't know the parents. There could be through backs.....this is exciting.

Any one got names??

oh I checked the two eggs still there. Both are clear.

Didn't I post in another thread :)

I want to see if that spot on the second is a pied spot or not :) And not to spoil your fun but dark wings and hear normal leads to normals. (but that can still be normal blue :) )

Names...I will just through some out...(Laughing out loud)

Since the male's name is Duey it reminds me of Donald Ducky soooo

Donny

Donald

Aldy

Ducky

Lacey

Pie (for any pieds that you may get if the green is split for the pied gene yes??)

So that is what my brain can think of right now.

Congrats on those beuatiful babies.

other things I thought of

I think more growing is needed ;)

I thought the oldest was going to be Vagas? I'm not sure if it's a typo or not since r is far from s on the keyboard. But then I know I can replace a whole wrod with another when typing.

 typo....it is Vagas. ;)

I think there is definately two pieds even three. there beaks are orange. Vagas is showing a brownish look to his black feathering. Maybe a cinamon trait. also I think there is two females, vagas being one.

But hey I think it's too early for me to tell. :P

do you think the far left one will be dominant pied opaline?

The one I can't see the head (3rd one) can't see a spot so maybe it'll be dominant pied opaline too?

Maybe all four will be pied.

Help me out! My genetics knowledge sux alot!!

*stares at picture* okay I don't think any are opaline. Remember Blondie had a really pale head, where the bars where faded all of the head we can see had dark baby bars already showing. I think the oldest (green) and youngest (right) are going to be normal wing patterns. The young one looks like a blue. The other too show some signs of pied, with the clear feathers in the second oldest wings (no head :hap:) and the clear flight feathers on the third (far left)
