Sorry it took so long, but I finally have a good picture of Snowflake's cere. My camera is NOT good when taking close-ups and it took me awhile to get one in focus. Anyway, when I first saw him or her, he/she was a little over two weeks old, and his cere was all pink. Then it turned purple everywhere but around the nares- that part stayed pink. Now that pink part has turned blue, and the rest is turning blue as well. So...is it possible to sex him/her now? He/she is 7 weeks old.

Hi Christine9

you have a beautiful male Sky Blue Spangle budgie. If you say him cere just turned blue it would make him about 8 to 12 weeks old.

Hope you have a lot of fun with him.

Thanks! He will be turning 8 weeks old in a few days, so I guess that he is close enough to 8 weeks.
