January 8, 200619 yr Oh their not going anywhere. They are so scared of their new cage, it's waaaay bigger than what they are used to.
January 9, 200619 yr They're very cute. That cage looks interesting .. do you have a full picture of it. Was it "homemade"?
January 9, 200619 yr Little Cuties. Is that a bag hanging for them to sleep in or is it a poop catcher? :(Laughing out loud):
January 9, 200619 yr Little Cuties. Is that a bag hanging for them to sleep in or is it a poop catcher? :(Laughing out loud): (Laughing out loud)....I was wondering that as well .....They're sweet Lin!
January 9, 200619 yr It's a sleeping hut, there are 2 in there. Used to be in with the other 5 budgies, who only used them to sit on top of. I live in hope these budgies might use them as they are intended
January 9, 200619 yr Oh well thats better than a poop bag I bought Apple a fluffy yellow sleeping hut thingy for Christmas but he wont use it, maybe Munchkin will when he's older and added to Apples cage
January 9, 200619 yr They're very cute. That cage looks interesting .. do you have a full picture of it. Was it "homemade"? I just noticed this Hurdy, I will get a picture later today. It's not homemade, I got given it by a friend. I think it is called an indoor aviary, it is on wheels, it just is taller than wide and it's not easy to put perches and toys in, because it has a stupid little roof instead of wire
January 9, 200619 yr Have one of those sleeping huts (privacy huts) and have circulated them throughout my budgie, lovebird, rosey bourke cages with no luck. Also tried this a few years ago and finally gave it to somebody who had finches.
January 10, 200619 yr Here's the cage  Like I said not ideal, but they don't spend a lot of time in it
January 10, 200619 yr no wonder they are scared of their new cage (Laughing out loud), it is huge for 2 tiny budgies like them
January 10, 200619 yr The person who gave me my first rainbow lorikeet gave me that cage not so long ago. Believe it or not she kept the lorikeet in it. It is nowhere near big enough for a lorikeet, but, if the budgies ever actually looked at the cage, instead of peering pathetically through the wire at me, I think they'd find a lot to do in there
