Seed Saving

Hi, would anyone know where you can by a seed recycler from here in Australia.

I believe you use a vaccum cleaner to create suction to remove the husk, thus leaving

the good seed to flow into a container.

Cheers!!! :ausb:

There was a post on here just a week or so ago, and it shows how to make your own. Never heard of one before, so doubt if you could buy one

I remove the husk by going out side and pouring the seed from the dish into a much larger dish from about half a metre above the larger dish. This way, when the seed is falling into the larger dish, the wind blows away the husks. :ygbudgie:

Oh that's a good idea Sailorwolf. Much pleasanter than blowing the darn things :P

Oh what a good idea indeed :) Whohoooo No more seed up my nose, in my eyes or hair anymore..

I never was good at the blowing out the dish thing :P

Cheers

I always struggle with blowing the husks away. The rebound off the dish into my face. :)
