Posted December 2, 200519 yr Just to prove that my budige has to be the most stupid budgie in the world: Here are picture of louey lying on his back nibbling his feet , he stayed like this for a good 15 minutes!! Silly Louey!!

December 3, 200519 yr Nope I have the most stupid budgie in the world, Monty, he can't fly although the vet says there is no reason in the world why he can't. He also hangs sideways or upside down on the cage bars to eat or drink as he doesn't know how to land on perches, but he redeems himself by his pretty singing. :sad: :sad:

December 5, 200519 yr I would actually be a bit worried that his feet are bothering him in some way. Not to say it's impossible that this is just one of those odd budgie quirks but as cute as it is, I'd have it checked out just in case. Esepcially since he seems so dedicated to the task!
December 5, 200519 yr hi eterri, thanks for your concern, i have had him checked out by an avain vet cause i was worried it was scaly face or something like that but the vet said there was nothing wrong with him . So we figure its just some kind of habit he's got into and maybe he does it to amuse me cause everytime he does it I fall about laughing !! I'll try get some better pictures of him tonight.
