What do I do?

I have tried this bird with 3 different males and no joy just does not want to breed.

Can you please help me as I have never had this problem before?

Or is this one of those females that just won?t breed at all?

 

she shows no interest in any of the males and runs back and forth all day long in the breeding cage?

I'm guessing she's just not going to breed. If she's been with 3 males and not showed interest in any of them then she's saying loud and clear that she's not the motherly type.

Yea that?s what I?m thinking to maybe I should try another breeder and see if they have large grey males like her dad Agro

Could be she?s too Agro for all the males and they just run and hide

poor girl. EWhat suit of male to you pair her with? Just asking cuase maybe she doesn't like the smaller pet type ones. (not sure what you have your collection)

Also if you have tried with all whitefaces try a yellow one. How old is she? Does she spend time with certain ones in the aviary?

Well she spends most of the time sitting on her own won?t mix with any of the others she just a loner I think.

Also I only have 2 large show budgies one is green olive and the other a white faced grey.

That?s why I was thinking she would prefer one of her own size?

homer this was one of my ideas are you sure she is not a he (tumor ?) you will always get a bird who does not want to breed and its usually one of the ones you want to the most i would keep trying different cloured males

Or for humors sake she just doesn't need a man She is beautiful

Try the green olive with her. You might lose the grey colouring but once you know she will breed you can try her with one for colour.

 

If it doesn't work well I don't know try all the males :ausb:

I tried her with ned he is an olive green he also has five sons which are olive green 2 have just finished breeding and the 3 other birds are in the breeding cages now so I'm all out of Olives

also the grey males I have are all related to this bird so that is just not on

I have 3 pied yellow greens I might try them and see how she goes but thanks for the advice and all the best

Cull her Hommer. If she wont breed for you. She might make a good pet for someone.

well there is hope at the end of the tunnel as "What The" has taken an interest in her started feeding her yesterday after it stopped raining

here is "What The" do you think I will get clear wings?

no becuase either bird is a clear wing or a dilute of any kind.
