November 5, 200519 yr Oh it looks lovely. I get quite jealous on ebay, all the cages and aviaries are for pick up in the East :fear There's some brilliant bargains to be had, and I can't get them
November 5, 200519 yr Very nice, wow...I want one...The link is not working...I would like to see the auction.
November 5, 200519 yr I wish I lived in a warmer climate, I'd love to have an aviary but the birds would freeze to their perches in the winter. I like that one, it looks so spacious. I think it's because of how the perches/branches are set up? I'd only worry about them escaping when it was opened but I suppose something could be rigged to solve that fairly easily.
November 5, 200519 yr Author I'd only worry about them escaping when it was opened but I suppose something could be rigged to solve that fairly easily. Some other photos. On the other side of the door there is a "Curtain" Don't know if I like that. There could be a bird on it that youdon't see until you go in. Might be a problem? Edited November 5, 200519 yr by daz
November 5, 200519 yr Yeah, i'd worry about that. I would've used something nice and slippery, (Laughing out loud).
November 5, 200519 yr All it really needs is a 'feed door'. I am currently converting all of my aviaries. A little door, so I can feed them and change water without going in all the time. I've had one for the finches for a while, and it's so easy!
November 5, 200519 yr I don't like the idea of the curtain either, it also hamper your view while getting inside, I would think more could get out while you 'fought' with the thing. But it is a nice size Personally I wouldn't have the breeding boxes but that just me. I like the three breeding cages on the back :fear
November 5, 200519 yr That is a nice set up. Getting in is not a problem with my birds, I just pick up the bird net and they all nick off to the second half of the cage.
November 5, 200519 yr Author Nerwen it's funny that. They have the breeding cages for closed breeding and then the breeding boxes for communal... I just installed a feed window to my aviary. They are great. I'll try to post a photo tomorrow. Too dark now.
November 6, 200519 yr wow i would love something like that especially since i only breed in breeding cages and then it's not as bad when i put them in because they can still see all the others with the curtain thing they should use a shower curtain then they wouldn't be able to grip it :bluebudgie:
November 6, 200519 yr Author Looks good, where have all the birds gone. FP thats why they are selling the cage...... :bluebudgie:
