Does anyone know what age the oldest budgie ever was? Were they put into the Guiness book of records? Thanks. :)

The oldest one I've heard of was 26 or something like that.

I don't think it would be in the guiness book or records or anything because they say the oldest parrot ever was 35 years old :)

There is a link somewhere on here to a similiar topic, try a search?

Yes I'm sure it's popped up before and I do believe it's been recorded as around 26 years. The average is anything between 5 to 10 years depending on the birds activity and health etc.

Many parrots live longer than 35 years...Amazons and Greys will live 50 or 60 years will good care, macaws even longer.

Yeah I heard somewhere that the oldest living budgie was around 25-26 years.

I knew that, and I've heard of amazons that lived past 80, so thats why I didn't think guiness was being accurate :D
