Awww where did you find it, is it really young?

Try dabbing it with luke warm water on some cotton wool to try and soften it.

thanks boomberry i called the vet and they said the same it was so bad it was like cement

he's about 4 weeks old and is a sky blue cinnamon

he's so friendly and cute he's just sitting on my shoulder

now i just have to give him a name

he was sitting on one of my breeding cages trying to get my hen to feed him

i dangle my chicks feet in luke warm water, for a few seconds and rub it between my fingers, then use cotton buds to free it, but as i was told when i first started breeding, it doesnt always come off straight away, so it may tkae a few attempts,

Awww where has the poor thing come from? Is it weaned yet? If not your going to have to hand feed asap!

i got it all off so that's a good thing and no i don't think it's weaned yet so i am going to try and hand feed him i have no idea where he came from

thanks for getting back so soon it's very appreciated

Anything to help - keep us informed on his progress the poor little thing!

He is very young too-I suppose this is a silly question and excuse me if it is but could it possibly have escaped from your set-up at all and actually be one of yours?

i don't have any cinnamons and it's deffinately not one of mine (i checked)

he is eating by himself which is a good thing and he's now fast asleep pooor little thing has had a big day

yes i am going to keep him as a pet
