Well, no one can help the bird except the vet but I can tell you that it is possible that it is a tumor that has caused the cere to change if you're positive tihs is a male bird. How old is he? He needs to see an avian vet, definitely.

He is about a 1 year old m,aybe a bir older . I might go back in to the aviary and catch him a little later and read the leg band on him He cant biote that hard anymore like he use to ,

dont think so as when we got the bird it was mature accroding to the guy at petstock . and they know abit about birds there .

Looks a bit strange and abnormal to me. I would really try to get a vet visit in soon if I were you.

By The Way he went to the vet 4 days ago they think it is a tumour

Will he still have a good life? :(

No he is living on borrowed time it is only a matter weeks according to the vet .

Very sad, indeed. I'm so sorry echucabirds. Unfortunately, this tends to be more common in the mutations (like pieds) than in normals. Did your vet give you any specific diet to follow, or particular instructions to make his life a bit easier?

That's terrible. Is there anything you can do to make his last few weeks enjoyable for him?
