I ran out of treat for Sol and i had some spray millet (ive used it before). But I just left it there ever since i used it on the first day i bought it. Just making sure as i dont want to give him food poisoning!

PS: Do brown-red stripes on the cere indicate females?

Seeds do get old. How long exactly has the millet spray been in his cage? He won't get food poisoning, the seeds will just be stale and have little to no nutrition in them. If it's been there awhile, just throw it out and get new.

I'm not sure what you mean by stripes on the cere, but any brown generally indicates a hen.

Ive had it for 2 months its been open but not in the cage well ill just go get some new treat. And about the cere they looked like veins.

if you've had it for 2 months, and its been open, dump it.

Seeds get stale with time especially if not in an air sealed container. Best to change reasonably frequently.
