I bought my budgie less than a week ago and since then it has been eating sufficiently but i dont think it has touched none of the water . i change the water everyday but its always full. help would be appreciated!!

Don't worry They do drink just a little each day. Sometimes they drink even less if you have been feeding them with vegetables.

If your budgie is eating, they you can be pretty sure that your budgie is drinking too. They often drink early in the morning and they only take tiny little baby beak fulls so you wouldn't notice a drop in the water level.

Your budgie will only take a small amount of water. Often budgies can be shy of drinking when there are people around, but no budgie willlet itself dehydrate if water is available, so donr worry. I hardly ever see mine drinking nether!

Thats strange because all my budgies drink water openly and Candy a lot more than the others (one of the other reasons I thought he had fatty liver disease) but its common for them to be shy about it, dont worry he is drinking just when your not looking!

And if you wet his veggies he will get some water from that too.
