Gooby seems to have finally settled down and become used to his surroundings. He has found his way back to his cage today and enjoyed dinging the bell on his lattice ball.

He has flown onto my finger this morning twice. Once from the top of his cage and once from the ceiling fan (don't worry it was turned off!). He enjoyed attacking my hand when he landed on it too.

 

Right now he is on my shoulder just sat nibbling on my hair! I missed this the most when i was budgieless. My heart is full again.

He sounds to be settling in beautifully.How does he react to other members of your family because I'm finding Sherbet is friendly with everyone.

I do let this kids handle him under my supervision. But i make it quite clear in the early days that mummy is taming him and i think that should be done by one person. I think it must be very stressful for a little budgie to have lots of tiny hands and faces ankering after him!

Nice save Budge! Though I think we can all understand why you want him all to yourself at the moment! It's great to hear he is settling in nicely, it shouldn't be too long before he's ruling the place!
