Have you ever tried this stuff its from the US?

I haven't yet. The nearest place that sells it is about an hour's drive but I'll probably wait until I have the time to go there and pick stuff up. Otherwise, I'll end up buying it online I guess.

 

Hopefully at least one of my birds will eat it!

(Laughing out loud) so you orded the cream of tweet one it does sound really yummy! Bananas, dates, raisins, basmati rice, pearl barley, oats, green split peas, wheat, soy milk, cinnamon, nitmeg, fennel and anise. maybe i will get some just or me!

That sounds edible! (Laughing out loud) lucky birds!

It hasnt arrived yet but hoping it does today. The grass is growing well and will hopefully be ready the day after tomorrow - cant wait to see their reaction.

okay Cream of Tweet is here, Ive looked in it and there is loads of dry fruit, raisins lenstils, rice etc. It only mentions for parrots though. I am right that I can give it to the budgies cant I.

 

Maybe the meant all parrots not just the big ones.

Well if it said parrots, budgies are parrots, it should be fine.

Gonna cook it tonight hope they like it. It actually looks quite yummy this is one birdie food I might actually try!

I ordered my online and the grass is growing really well too, they arrived in 2 days.

 

But I guess as they are US products that would be the only way I could purchase them eh?

Yeah. It might even turn out to be the only way I can purchase them too. Especially the wheatgrass stuff, I don't remember seeing it at petsmart. And that's an hour of driving I'd rather not do so I might just order it online myself. I'm sure the website will have more of a choice anyway.

No mine came really quick and well you have to wait for the grass to grow so my girlie you will have to be patient anyways hehe!

I forgot about that. I don't wanna wait, I wanna have it all now now now! :closedeyes:

Yep but only a week and a half at the very very most I would say.

 

I planted my grass on Friday and its almost done today. I reckon by Wednesday it will be ready to eat.

 

Oh and the tweet mix only takes 15 mins in the microwave, then I guess you have to wait a couple more hours for it to cool down so yep your waiting on that one too hehe!

I guess there's just nothing fast or easy when it comes to birds.

Seed hehehe thats about it.

 

Oh and snappy little pecks when their grumpy and tired - they come pretty fast I'd say!

I'm really to curious to see what the 'tiels will think of beak appetite too. The baby will probably dig in but the older one seems more picky.

Candy is pretty good on trying anything new so am praying my little curious boy will be a trend setter.

 

Ive got the sweet mix 'Cream of Tweet' hehe thought that sounded the more appetising.

It's making me crave oatmeal!
