Im sat here with Gooby nestled right in the back of my neck! He has been there half an hour and hasn't moved.

I think he likes my hair. He seems to make a little nest in it.

 

 

I think he is asleep but i darn't move incase i disturb him.

Aww how cute Im hoping Tobi might be tame for a few weeks until he meets the others - tonight will be the test.

I mean she hehe this is going to get some getting used to!

Gooby is still on my neck. ive been round the house with him there and he hasn't budged (hahaha). I know he is still alive though because he keeps having a nibble on my hair! (Laughing out loud)

I bet that's a lovely feeling! I wish I had a tame budgie, the lorikeet isn't as snuggly as everyone's budgies sound!

when gooby was let out this morning he seemed really skittish and wouldn't come to me but he seems to have settled down again.

 

 

 

i dragged my neighbour in to take some photos of him for me. Doesn't he look sweet!

Awww he's adorable. Piper will hang out on my shoulder like that but always makes a point to leave a poo right before she departs. :closedeyes:

 

I often have a cockatiel on each shoulder and THEY make it a point to leave a poo before they depart too.

 

And Phoenix has gone into his rendition of the Andy Griffith theme so I think it's about time to uncover the stinkers.

the last time a butterfly landed on me in the garden i ran away! (Laughing out loud)! :(Laughing out loud): i am pathetic arent i, but they are slightly freakish considering they can taste you through their feet!

 

i think gooby is a gem and it is so great that he feels the safest place he can be is nestled in your hair. it makes me get goosebumps when casper licks my neck or my ear!

I don't like to be touched by butterflies either. Or fireflies. Or ladybugs. Or anything creepy crawly. They're pretty but the way they're built is icky to me.

Amilestone was reached a few moments ago. I let Gooby out of his cage he flew around and then landed on one of my daughters heads!

Thats good news isn't it. He is beginning to relax in our company now. I think its one thing carrying them around on your finger but its another when THEY decide fly to you. Good old Goobs.
