I have two budgies that are bonded to each other and refusing to tame so I am going to take one and put him in a separate cage and move him into a different room. And I am wondering if this is bad for them?

I have 2 budgies and have the same problem. I tried separating them for a day but our other cage is too small so didn’t think it acceptable so haven’t done it since. Don’t think they will tame though unless they are separated.
