Bobby :"(

I am heartbroken to have to come in here to tell you that my beautiful Bobby has passed away.

It was while I was away on holidays, my neighbour was coming in everyday and feeding them and giving them fresh water and making sure they weren't too hot etc, and she came in on new years day and found him.

How he died is a mystery, he had been attached, but by what we can't tell. There was no blood anywhere, and other details I wont share, but it was so distressing to see my beautiful, amazing, full of life budgie like that, leaves a massive hole in my heart.

He was the sweetest and funniest budgie that I have ever known, so cheeky and such a little flirt. I can't believe that he has gone. The past 2 weeks have been the most painful weeks of my life, losing my 2 cockatiels Bert & Leo to giardia, and now Bobby as well, I can't bare it. I thought it might be fleas, since we've been away they have moved in and taken over, we've never had fleas in the house we always have frontline on our pets but the empty house and hot conditions must have been perfect, then I thought maybe it was a spider, but just some details don't add up. I thought maybe a mouse, but there are no droppings anywhere and we haven't had mice in the house either.

I will miss him always, he was so special to me and I can't believe he is gone, I didn't even get to say goodbye

I know I haven't been around for a long time, but there are a few on here that helped me so much when I first got him, and helped me be the bird lover that I am today.
