There are plenty of good people around GB. I have made lifelong friends out of it, most who aren't even in birds anymore. There were some at the start that I thought were friends that weren't. Like in all walks of life there are all sorts.

Make sure it stays fun and don't take it too seriously. If it isn't fun anymore it is't worth doing but you could be one nest full from making it fun again.

Don't get to down Gb, you know the basis, you have an excellent eye for the birds you will get there, if it was meant to be easy everyone would be at the top

Look at me having another rotten year.

And also I don't have the money to buy in top birds, so my plan is to quitely breed my little Champions lol. no just do my own thing.

With all the chicks I have lost heaps this year over 50 dead little chicks, I really don't think I will have any thing on the show bench for a couple of years. The little dark green cock I bred well he is not eating and has lot heaps of wait. tried cropping him today, the grey spangle from the white is not getting fed either and is skin and bone.

The last surviving chick from the yellow df cock, the one I saved Friday well it died through the night with a full crop.

I have totally had enough.

But then I do have about 13 little chicks out there that are looking healthy, cross my fingers.

Get my results today from Rob

Yes Gb look at me I have been poisoning my babies with all my good intentions. I have to admit that Saturday morning i was balling my eyes out because it was so depressing going out their every morning to see dead chicks in most nest.

thanks guys i do know theirs good people out their thats not what im meaning i just guess i expected like fordmob that i would make some friends that i could see out of club/shows as well now and again not all time i mean i like to be alone anyway but be nice to chat i dont know i do have few good mates from other clubs and some you guys on here but its hard when most are so far away and i myself can not drive and its a actually i cant drive not just haven't bothered to get license its due to my working memory not really working to well i just would be a danger to others and myself so i feel not drivings safe for all as if i was to be driving and then just tune into something else im doing well could be bad

i know that sounds really dumb but im quiet happy to admit im a bit of a dreamer and quiet often drift into my own place just not practical if your driving to risk just drifting of and sometimes i just zone out i see something or start thinking of something and zooooooooooonnnnnnnneee :P:o:wub: so i wont risk driving never plus my left n right are backwards so ... :(

i got my 4th live chick today and another two didnt make it

one had neck twisted wrong way

and other well just stopped pipping

so 3 for the light green hen now and was a little albino that i lost with twisted neck grr two pink eyes dead one black eye alive in one egg left to hatch please make it pink eye please in if not well at least make it a cock bird lol

thanks taz my albinos and my lacewings are my strongest birds lucky as thats what im trying to specialize in lol

that hen is the second best hen from three sisters her sister came 8th at the young bird shields in albino class the grey cock is son from the half sister of her father

she just layed 4 more eggs i fostered them all out shes had two clutches already only two chicks but still two so they are going to rest for few months then see what weathers like may squeeze one more clutch latter from them

but right now

i am more aiming on getting the flight birds up to peek health as as i said i believe that they are not as good as i know they can be their weight is less also

so im goingto stop breeding

raise whats their and fly everything for a while birds and me take a break from breeding

No still putting on 2011 rings , even though they will be young I am still trying to breed something for the young bird shield next year. Anything with 2012 can't go to the young bird shield until 2013.

So I am using all the 2011 rings up first still have 30 I think.

And the way it is here at the moment birds I have will be to old for young cap shield and the ones I put down last week will be to young. I am talking from my best nest.

well i took this short vid of my fav hen

i not sure she will be best mum ever but shes trying so its her first time and its a foster as her eggs were infertile i belive due to my bad decichion on timming if you look shes gone right out of condition im just lucky she so loving bird as shes devoted to her little foster although i top up its crop two times a day as she really isnt capable to raise this far out of condition not to the needed amount to raise a healthy chick

im keeping chick with her though as i dont want to upset her and wreak her for future nests

i love this hen shes my baby whom sits on my shoulder in flight she came reserve best hen as did the cock in the nest with her reserve best cock both beginner class

I had that with a lovely pied GB, hen sat tight, and Geoff has one too, hen sat tight too.

I had to put my down because it he couldn't move any where at all. he was so lovely too.

BUT he was in pain. couldn't even walk.
