September 15, 201014 yr well done splat look's like your haveing fun why is it all way's rain when we cememt the bird rooms
September 15, 201014 yr Author I know Shannon, it's so annoying, last weekend was perfect and now I want to lay the cement and rain
September 15, 201014 yr Author Yep getting excited but need more of this $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$, looking for a new job with more hours and that will give me more money AND a break from Jake Yep probably come home and I find that he is that board that he has ripped the front of my aviaries and eaten mmy birds.
September 16, 201014 yr It always rains when we want to do something that requires fine weather!!! Â You should train Jake to help carry things or fetch tools on demand , but seriously you'll have a good guard dog for your birds when your birdroom is finished.
September 16, 201014 yr Author Hope so, as long as he pertects them and not eat them, BUT my way at looking at things, I told Greg while I am around Jake will be a well fed dog, I reckon a well fed dog with plenty of toys and chew things should leave the birds alone. Â Packing sand nearly all down in the area now , I am hoping cementing takes place over weekend.
September 17, 201014 yr Author Naughty Jake dug up the packing sanding area last night the little so and so. I went and paid for my shed today and had a look at it. I bought home the T handle and screws to put it together and the dyno bolts to attach it to the cement. Shed will be here Tuesday. Exciting. Looks very high just what I wanted
September 17, 201014 yr How exciting for you Splat, bet you can't wait to get the concrete down and the shed up. Â I shouldn't laugh but can just picture Jake, giving you that cutsey look of "who me" "I never went near the packing sand" , meanwhile he's covered in it.... oh well what's more work. lol. The concrete will be down before you know it.
September 17, 201014 yr Author Everytime I got out to the breeding room to check my birds Jake follows and he while I am in there he occupies himself buy playing in my ready to cement area and when I come out he has big red paws and a red nose and there are holes everywhere. Greg put a temperary fence uo before because he finished it off for me because I played dump and said I didn't know how to do it. Which in the end I really didn't. As it was I shovelled and moved about 15 full wheel barrows of dirt, I thought I was goin g to die. Yippie just rand up and ordered the cement mix (sand) we are doing it ourselves, Greg's idea. It will be late morning tomorrow. Â But yes Snoopy getting really excited. Edited September 17, 201014 yr by splat

September 20, 201014 yr I still need to buy a whirly bird before shed is erected. Â Â You also need to be able to block it off for winter :rip:
September 21, 201014 yr Author Yippee shed just arrived, boy am I tuckered out fro helping the guy lift it
September 21, 201014 yr Author It looks vary ordinary at the moment, it is all up against Gregs Garage, It came in 4 sides with door in one side and 2 pieces for the roof and a roof guard.
September 21, 201014 yr I still need to buy a whirly bird before shed is erected.   You also need to be able to block it off for winter  Block off the whirley bird? Why? It allows fresh air in, but does not provide a draught
