August 14, 201014 yr Author that is much better - thanks Kaz I had set it for anyone to view if they had the link initially but as it didnt work for you guys I set it for anyone at all to view.
August 14, 201014 yr Kaz is there anyway of making the print smaller as it is that big I have to scroll over heaps to read, very annoying to me
August 14, 201014 yr splat if you click on 'view' you should be able to change it to list view. You will still have to scroll across but at least you don't to go bug eyed with the big print.
August 14, 201014 yr Author Most people's mouse........if you hold down control on your keyboard and use the scroll wheel on your mouse back or forth you can change the size of the page you are viewing.
August 14, 201014 yr Yes.................. i maybe will call you soon ???? still tossing my tongue in cheek thinking mmmmmmmm
August 14, 201014 yr Thanks RIP that worked, Kaz your way didn't maybe because I only have a laptop with no mouse

September 14, 201014 yr Author Auction is this coming Sunday. If anyone wants anything they had better organise it quick
September 18, 201014 yr Are you allowed to take photo's? It might be good to know what the birds look like and what they go for at an auction. I think it might make an excellent topic for someone who has never been to an auction.
September 20, 201014 yr Author Lot 37 $ 150 Lot 38 $ 160 Lot 86 $200 Lot 4 $ 190 Lot 19 $ 250 Lot 100 $ 200 Lot 17 $190 Lot 98 $ 210 Lot 77 $110 Lot 59 $ 360 Lot 23 $ 170 Lot 33 $ 310 Lot 65 $ 100 Lot 73 $350 Lot 111 $ 80 Highest price bird was a cinnamon wing skyblue hen which sold for $ 500 to a BBC member. Jeff Lloyd ( also BBC member ) did a good job at being the auctioneer EXCEPT partway through auctioning a dom pied of Jan McMahon's that I was bidding for and then Jeff decided to bid for her too and beat me :rip: Edited September 20, 201014 yr by KAZ
September 20, 201014 yr I dont usually buy birds when I am Auctioneer as I find it difficult to make good choices and do my job at the same time. But yesterday...... I couldnt help myself. Sorry Karen. Cec said to Jan that she had to pull her out and that was enough for me! I purchased Lot 19. 33 (both pictured) and Lot 29. I had to sell a few to buy a few. Lot 4, 65 and 73 (all pictured are mine). John Payne bought the 2010 Lute cock Lot 65 for $100. ($100 below the reserve) A bit of a bargain. Its hard to focus when squeezing the $$$ out of people! Thanks heaps for the photos Karen. Edited September 20, 201014 yr by KAZ
