April 18, 201015 yr Hi Cameron... Can you post a photo so I can see what it is? I don't think I've seen anything like what you have..
April 18, 201015 yr sounds like a chook feeder to me white plastic not clear with a hook through middle and a green tray with sections your not doing anything wrong but its a chook feeder not a budgie seed holder you can screw it up or down to let more feed out personally id just get a new one i use to have them and found two many probs with the birds even had one try get into it and head stuck
April 18, 201015 yr Put it on a pedestal stand instead of hanging....if you have the room for it. As GB says its a chook feeder and as such is designed to be a ground feeder.
April 18, 201015 yr Author http://i572.photobucket.com/albums/ss165/t...on/100_0527.jpg thanks guys here is a picc it said on the label its a bird feeder cam
April 18, 201015 yr I used to use them, but i found them too much trouble. I found that they were not that effective as the husk would sit in the try and had no real chance to escape without my help. I think you are much better off buying a bird bath and using that as a seed dish. That is what I did.
April 19, 201015 yr Ah I use that one! I fin that it is okay, I have mine sitting on a shelf though. When lifted up to much seed comes out.
April 19, 201015 yr I use them and they work well for me. Mine hang also. Make sure the inner rod is not to tight. I'm not sure it wouldn't be flowing though. Mine dig into it and go through their seed no worries. They actually prefer these feeders over normal dishes. If your birds don't get where the fresh seed comes from, then it wont work as they're relying on you doing it, which defeats the point. Hope you can sort the problem out.
June 28, 201014 yr Hi, I know this post is a bit old but can anyone tell me where to find a feeder like or similar to this? Thanks
