Annual Budgie Auction for Eastern Districts

This is the first auction that JimmyBanks ever attended and he won't be there at this one due to work commitments. Outrageous, but just think, All the more reason to go!

How many other forum members went? Apart from me and PT

Interested to know what the price range was like and how it compared with previous years.

Top price $1600, only 2 other birds made more than $1000. Quite a lot of birds in the $300 - $600 range. Quality was mixed, although there was some bargains to be had.

:P Oooops. Did someone give away may bidder number ;) ? It was an exciting & fun day...I took 5 birds home....got a little carried away. The bird I really wanted went for over $300...a little bit too much for me :-(....maybe next time.

No......I had number 53 and I was sitting in the second row on the right....shortish hair. There was another young lady in front of me...with longer hair.....maybe she had numer 60ish.

Yes the opaline violet hen was mine and the "sneakers" are puma!

 

Heathrow looks a bit like a human version of a crest - thinnish with a bit of a "fluffy" hairdo.

 

I was the larger bloke with a callaway golf cap (God, I'm sounding like a brand name wanker! - callaway hat & puma shoes). Next thing you know all of my birds will be Mannes x Binks x Pilkington!

just wondering im not sure how it works

are all breeders allowed to place birds in as long as their passed or what how does it work or is it a secret lol
