Wet babies...............they had mucked up their drinker with seed debris so I added a Dcup for water while I cleaned out their drinker. Turned my back for a moment and they had all bathed in the dcup of water :D

As always, amazing looking birds

I like the skyblue cinnamon but it bites :D

The cinnamon coloured wings on a blue body are a very good look.

I agree........its very attractive in a budgie :camera:

Look what I found when I checked the nest earlier

So I put it outside for safe keeping :P

That is funny. I have never seen anyone do that, but it is funny.

Yeah :camera: The way I see it....it safe from getting wrecked by the babies still in the nest, and lessens the chance that the Mum will chase her babies out of the nestbox. Eggs as we know stay in limbo until incubated so the egg is safe where it is

So cute, that little egg in the seed dish.

It's amazing how beefy your babies are, compared to my pet-type budgies at that stage!

so a egg can say in a box for 3 days or more with out it going bad

Yes....as long as incubation hasnt begun it will keep well for a week or more.

WOW I diddn't know that but I guess it makes sence as the mother normally wouldn't incubate for a few days.

Nice birds Kaz

Here is the chick...........007 as per its legring :D

If she is a lacewing as per the Gary Armstyrong hen and split lacewing cock of Rob Dunstan, the Gary Armstrong said he wants her. He is getting into lacewings.

Babies looking after babies. The little green baby had to come out of iots nestbox earlier due to Mum laying the next round....the blue baby has taken it under its wing so to speak and makes sure its gets fed.
