:P not that easy renee, you need 8 points in one club to go up. I only got 3 points out of that result. That means i have 4 in my club. I have 6 in SCBA and will be showing in 2 weeks time. If I get 2 more points at that show, i'll go up then. ;)

Of course, I had forgotten about you points system. Over here we get bumped up to Intermediate after 3 years .... not automatically but at the Club's discretion. :D

Yes here it's 3 years AND 8 points at one club , not combined... I've done my 3 years, now just need the points.

Congrats on your wins Daz, good job to pick up that many in one show. Any chance of some pics of the winners? I was looking to show at this one but 2 things stopped me:

1. It was on Father's Day, and

2. I didn't have a single YB or Nestfeather for it anyway! :fingerscrossed:

I should have a few babies ready to go for Ipswich next month.

It five years here in Victoria for beginners  I have 25 points, just need five more maybe this weekend. I am in my 4th year. :)

Cool Daz.....any pictures?

What's a nestfeather?

What's a nestfeather?

Nestfeather is a baby budgie, out of the nest and old enough to crack seed and perch but not having gone through its first moult.

Thanks Kaz !

I found out last night the hard way that a nest feather or unbroken cap is classed as a broken meaning capped when the cere starts changing even if they are 6 weeks old and adult bright feathers start coming through first mainly around their cheek patches etc.

They tell me their only a very small window when it comes to showing unbroken caps or nest feathers.

Yes it's a pitty as I have a show on the 20th but the ones on Sunday will be too old for it. I have the next group coming through, so will see how they go.

Good luck Daz with your next show. If I do any good Sunday I think I will be going up to intermediate too because I only need 5 points. Last shield when I won the Violet class I received no points because the class was not a shiled class but it is now. So I have my fingers crossed as long as he keeps his tail.
