Posted July 12, 200916 yr hi everyone, my brother and i were busy this weekend making some breeding cabinets for our new breeding room the single one was a prototype. we decided to make a block of 4 for now. the size of each cage is (inside size) 59cm long and 46cm wide and and about 50cm high is this size okay? i still have put the perches in, make the nest boxes which will tattach on the side like the single cage. and also got to make the trays at work sometime this week. have a look at the photos of the breeding cabinets :glare: hope this link works second time for me to post something on this forum
July 12, 200916 yr mate i think they are excellent :glare: i only wish i could either buy or make even pay some one to make me some like that however i prefer the wire all round both sides and frount just the back inclosed so birds can see each other yours are very well made and boxes very roomy good going you will have good success im sure with them
July 12, 200916 yr Would suggest removing the thick branch perches and putting two dowel perches in 16mm diameter each side of cage for mating and flying back and forth. Tree branches great for flight cages but for mating, those ones are too thick, and may make things difficult. Size of breeder cage is excellent
