Over Excited Budgie

hi all

my budgie turbo has always sat on the top of her seed containers chirping and waiting for me to come and talk to her and let her out for a fly. when i do let her out she will follow me everywere and sit on my shoulder and i will say prettyboy which i taught her to say and she will repeat it and her tail will lift up and she will get white rings in her eyes. i think she is attached to me because once she goes back in her cage she will go back on the seed container and chirp and i will talk to her then she will go back on her perch a few minutes later she will be on the seed containers again and she poos in her water and seed all the time. i feel guilty when i leave her while she is on the seed containers chirping because i feel she is really bored should i buy her some new toys? there is 1 toy in her cage which she has had since she was born (3years) and that is the only toy she will touch all the other ones are like brand new. i think she might be attached to things to easily.

does anyone know how i can stop this atention seeking and calm her down?
