June 11, 200915 yr Author The 05 bird,I would be a little caurses with it,I would'nt like to pay, big$$$ for him,he is 4yrs old. He won in 05, so is 04 bred - 5 years old. Im with you macka, way too old for me to buy. I have 1 '04 bred bird, and he is on his last year of breeding. The other Opaline Cinnamon National winner would be worth a go for sure!!
June 12, 200915 yr The other Opaline Cinnamon National winner would be worth a go for sure!! And worth a small fortune
June 12, 200915 yr Could anyone suggest what sort of average price some of these birds will go for, based on past experience and current market values?
June 12, 200915 yr Author Could anyone suggest what sort of average price some of these birds will go for, based on past experience and current market values? I wouldnt be surprised if the top few birds went for $3000 plus, overall the average around $300- $400. Quite a few birds will be over $1000!!!!
June 13, 200915 yr I'd keep to the 08 breed hens and no older than an 07 cock. Too much trouble with older one. If the very good 06 cocks came in cheap, say $100 - $150 might be worth a go for one or two eggs.
July 5, 200915 yr Did anyone get along to this yesterday? If so, what sort of prices did the birds fetch, particularly the birds pictured in the catalogue?
