May 29, 200915 yr 50%? thats unusual for a pet shop to be selling stuff over 10% after all their usually to stuck up and money hungry to give a damn about the birds in the shop just as long as they make money but anyways u picked up a nice bargain, im thinking of getting a proper bird bath to stand up away from the perch's and instead put seed in it and have a hanging water casket thingo
May 29, 200915 yr I have done that Matt. I use a bird bath for the seed. Birds have to fly down to it, and then fly back up to perches. No other animals can get to it. I had hanging water dispensers, and the birds would get in there to swim, but a lot of droppings also ended up in there. This means that birds had greater potential to get sick. I have swapped to the water dispensers that hang on the side of the aviary, that have the ball bearings and the birds get the water out. It is a lot better, and less illness occurs because of this. in summer I also use one of these containers so the birds have an available bath
May 29, 200915 yr Yes! that bath You have in the cage is perfect for what i want for my seed, usually bunning's warehouse has good baths and such, except their a bit on the expensive side
