So sorry you didnt make it into the nationals... but getting the results you did in the previous show... wow!! congratulations! :D

South Australia's Team is ready to go :)

That's a great photo liv.

I got my DF Spangle which came 3rd selected as reserve for the Nationals so I got a rossette for being a member of the national ream, pretty cool :D

I really didn't want my birds going because I am scared they might die from the stress. I heard last year a bird on the NSW team died while waiting to go to WA.

But the thing is like my violet came 1st and he would of went if the violet class at the nationals and I wouldn't of got a choice. They go and that is it.

Sorry you didn't make it Daz, hopefully next year.

After commenting that my show team was not as strong as in previous years G&G Stud ended up with 9 selected. Probably lots as reserves (not sure as I didn't watch the actual judging and we just select 3 birds without giving them a first second or third). The best I've done previously was 3 last year and it was the first time I'd actually got birds on the bench.

I see you have places 1st 2nd and 3rd... SQ stopped that as it was a selection for the team and that the birds can change in a week.

So we now have 1st, 1st, 1st......

There are no 2nd or 3rd but there are 4th to 10th. :D

Congratulations Gina, I'll be watch them with interest.

Well done to all that got birds in the their state teams. I am truely looking forward to a great time this weekend and hope to see as many their as possible. :D

To the careers. If your top three birds would fetch an average of $1500 each at auction, you will be carering for $99,000 worth of birds this weekend. If you find that you have 5 national winners with an average value of $4000 each, you will be taking home $113,000 worth of birds. :)

I wondered how long it would take to get a bite Daz!

Its a Challenge every year. But seriously the Victorian team is as strong as the past couple of years, will be very hard to beat. Stong across nearly all varieties, Victorian birds should place birds on the top shelf most classes.

Mention should be made that Sheppard & Flanagan have 19 birds on the Vic team, nearly 1/3 of the total team. Amazing effort!

....anyway Daz I've had a rundown the SQ team, you have a few good chances.

Im with you Shannon SQ will win.

Please people lets be realists... It might as well be called The Victorian in stead of The Nationals. :D :D

But don't worry, i will appologise for winning on Monday.. when the hang over clears. :D

If SQ win, it will be my shout, when we meet face-to-face Daz. My souces in Sq tell me Bob has a couple of nice birds in the team and there a couple of really nice Clearwings.......

I will be in regular phone contact to get results. Normally the hosting state has the results up fairly quickly.

Congrats to all who have birds selected to represent their State, a very good effort. Just wondering if anyone has any links to each State's selection results. I've seen the Gardner Shield results on the Vic site, are there any others around?

Victoria is the only progress state,The rest are behind the 8 ball, ;):) in all fairness

I would think if you log on each state, they will have there teams up, I will go & look

& return. :P

I have returned, alas I could not find any teams from any of the other states.

The closest was NSW,they had the winners of each class but found no team.

A big chance, for any member on here to put up there team for the National

from there state. :o

Cheers, thanks for the tip Macka I had a peep at the NSW results. It's too bad that some States don't bother keeping their sites up to date with their preselection results as I'm sure a lot would be interested.

Thanks Daz, good to see some of the SQ results. Unfortunately I was unable to get along to the preselection this year. Hope we can step up from our usual 3rd position. Did the monster size Greywing of Miller's which won at Pine Rivers get selected?

those guys are beginners arn't they Daz??? Oh I'm so funny. Never bred a bird in my life and I'm sledging already. ^_^
