hehe... do they climb into their food bowls themselves, or do you put them in there to make them easier to photograph? It seems you have a lot of budgies with a particular fondness for sitting in bowls! I particularly love the little bald guy busting some dance moves in his dish!

I put the babies in small bowls because its easier to take pictures. If I put them on a flat big surface I would never get a still picture. They will always try to get to the smallest place and snuggle in. Put some baby budgies on your shirt and you will see what I mean.

Yes she is the mother. She is a pet bird with a big background. Excellent mother that cares for her chicks very well. Father eats like anything (Notice all the silverbeet and or corn on his mask) to keep the chicks going well. He is good to.

They are cute babies, hope mine end up looking as nice and healthy as yours.

This is a good idea Pearce. I am always trying to get shots of my little buggers and the only way my camera can catch a good picture of them in motion is if I use the flash and flash is no good on here if you want to show them off or ask questions. I'll have to try that next time and see if it works for me!! )

YEs I agree. If you dont use flash and the babies are moving 100% of pictures will be blurry as anything. You can either put them in a small container or hold them in your hand. If on a flat surface you will not get any good pictures.
