March 17, 200916 yr Author Cinnamon spangles reduce suffusion, but NO...either of the other two will be for him. The cinnamon spangle will go with a skyblue boy I have.

From the pics the Light green Cinnamon looks the stronger bird, she might even be bigger than him? Good Luck! She's either coming into or going out of condition.
March 18, 200916 yr They look great Kaz Nice heads but that's why you brought them :glare: Edited March 18, 200916 yr by splat
March 18, 200916 yr Very Nice Hens Kaz!!! i like the spangle hen best, she has really good feather density, she's wider in the cap than the Lt Green Opaline Cinnamon. The light green Opaline Cinnamon has good cap feather length, but not the width or density.

Watch the posture, can be difficult and frustrating to rectify. Cull anything chick with poor posture. Might be a good pairing to the DF Spangle, looking at the pictures he has good posture and her head features would compliment and strengthen his.

March 18, 200916 yr Author I love this one Kaz. She was an afterthought Pearce....I went there for a hen to match the DF, but was offered two hens for the price of one. This hen was there too, but had terrible posture, but I kept looking at her head. When he went to put her back in the flight, I asked how much for her ? and as she was $50 I said I would take her. I nearly left without her, but she has "something" I liked. Hopefully her humpy rump wont transfer onto the chicks. Fingers crossed.

March 20, 200916 yr so is that a pot luck deal or something you can pair to to improve? Please explain ? well that will learn me to post when sleepy. I've read the topic fully this time and have realised that breeding to correct posture is possible, which is what my question was refering to.
