hello

i have a budgerigar that comes out regularly she eats everthing even when im eating food she comes and wants some

and ate a 1 inch wide hole in our wall

i put a scrunched up ball of newspaper in the bottom of her cage and she has ate about half there is all little chewed bits on the floor i dont know if it is safe and should i try to stop her eating my food or stop her coming for my food

budgies will nibble on things. It does not mean they are eating. They will shed paper like nothing else. Most do not eat it, jsut shred it. I would be more concerned with the whole in the wall. Budgies are allergic to a lot of things we eat, so do not feed her any of your food.
