WHY DO BUDGIES ALWAYS...

  • Screech and make the most amount of noise in the morning when you want them to be quiet as all the neighbours are still sleeping because it 5am
  • Always poo in their water as soon as you clean it
  • Insist on sleeping on the exact same 5cm piece of perch/swing/wire... even though there are ample OTHER spots available
  • Decide to flap their wings hysterically just BEFORE you're about to clean out their cage... sending feathers everywhere!!!

"Eagle" doesn't make any noise untill i wake up. He lives my bedroom, normaly the hound in with us and should be particularly commended on his self control considering many rainbow lorraceets frequent the area . At any other time of the day he happily joins the chorus. I would be interesred in reading of similar behaviours. " Eagle" receives quite a lot of attention, makes most of his own decisions, loves his cage and has the door open unless safety issues proscribe freedom.

Why do budgies always stop talking when you look at them... but if you look away it's a radio playing?

Why do budgies always steal your heart so fast?

This is a similar one...

Why can we not have enough budgies? :)

Why do they decided that when you are on the phone it would be the right time to scream their little heads off!

  • Why do budgies always make us smile no matter how crappy the day :)
  • Why do budgies always take baths in their freshly medicated water
  • Why do budgies always drag a full cob of corn and drop it in their water.

why do budgies attentively watch you pick their toys up off their cage floors and hang them back up before promptly going and ripping them all down again!?

(I have solved this problem by using those wire-free garden ties to attach things to the cage bars so they canstill fall off, but still dangle from the roof!)

Why do budgies always rub themselves against fresh strawberries in their cage? (can you tell my Gill's feet are a funny shade of red today, along with his tail, AND he has strawberry footmarks all along his perch?) ^_^
