Leeroy has developed this on one side, any ideas?

Possible scaly face....the photo has that area in shadow so it isnt as clear as it could be.

Looks to me like a old injury or he has rubbed it for some reason - note the new feathers growing on the site. Looking at the cere too it appears that he has just come out of poorer condition (old poor coloured layers of cere coming away to reveal nice blue cere of a bird hitting good condition). Could he have been bitten by another bird on that spot?

Smokey once had a moult where the first feathers to go were the little ones between his cere and his eyes. He ended up with little bald patches next to his eyes on both sides and I thought it was scaley face gone out of control. Keep an eye on it...

It looks like a healed wound to me and the feathers are starting to come back. I would say he was bitten or had a number of his feathers ripped out from there a few weeks back. It doesn't look serious to me.

hehe cammo, i have just noticed that your info next to your posts says you have 30.6 budgies... I am curious to see a picture of your 0.6 of a budgie!

They'd be near ready to start making a full number this week. I hope so anyway...DSC02473.jpgJeez I can't seem to get the resize working on Photobucket!! Sorry bout that, they are normal sized budgies and the eggs are definatly smaller than a chooks!!! :rofl:
