Posted February 13, 200916 yr do you think that this is a good cage fore a budgie i did not think but what do you think 66CM X 42CM Edited February 13, 200916 yr by Bird Haven
February 13, 200916 yr I'd think not, everyone on here says round cages aren't good for budgies. I personally used to keep two of my budgies (years ago) in a round cage and they were fine, but I'm no expert! So I would say probably not.
February 13, 200916 yr that cage is horrible, the only thing I would do is pop off the top and stick a plant in it I assume since you have a lol smile on your post that it was more of a joking question I did move this post to Bird Cages though.
February 14, 200916 yr Sorry I think not too as the budgies need room to move side to side not up and down like a stair case. They need a long wide cage rather than a high cage. :budgiedance:
February 14, 200916 yr I do not like round cages, means the bird has less room to fly from one side to the other. They would not get much excersise flying up..
February 14, 200916 yr okay i think its cool but i wouldnt put a budgie in it but im a bit weird like that, id most probbly hunt down a dead crow or something larger and then place its skeliton in their with wire to keep it up standing but again thats me thats really what id do with it then hang in tree out back yard above my cow skull i keep as garden view points (prob should of kept that to self) Edited February 14, 200916 yr by GenericBlue
February 14, 200916 yr Ebay is notorious for bad cages If its getting sold by someone still, send them an email letting them know its not apropriate, or send us the link so one of us will send them an informative email
February 14, 200916 yr maybe i'd place a small life like child doll in it and hang it from my back porch lol GB I had something like that when i was living with my friend.. everyone got creeped out by it and my "but it's art" argument didn't work so I had to take it down.. It ended up in my dad's shed, scares the **** outta him whenever he goes in there
February 14, 200916 yr It looks like a nice wellmade cage, maybe it would be suitable for a pair of finches or a canary?
February 14, 200916 yr Don't worry GB, I have both a cow skull and a horse skull and a seal vertebra sitting on the deck. I also at one time had a dog skull and a box of dog bones, these were on loan to me from the university. All the vet students get a box of bones and a dog skull in their first 2 years to learn from. They are very educational.
February 14, 200916 yr I like the idea of putting a creepy dool in it with no hair and missing an eye!
February 15, 200916 yr It looks like a nice wellmade cage, maybe it would be suitable for a pair of finches or a canary? No
February 16, 200916 yr Author I was just wondering. And if i used it i would just use it as a play gym Edited February 16, 200916 yr by Bird Haven
